“The Alamo movie”
I watched the movie about the Alamo it was about 157mins , it was the 2004 movie with Lt. Col. William Travis, James Bowie, and David Crockett, the three heroes, their against all odds courage at the Alamo would forever live on as a rallying cry for liberty and the independence.
The battle of the Alamo was between the rebel Texans forces, including both Anglos ethic Americans and Tejanos ethnic Mexicans in Texas, the Texans fight for the independence and the Texas Revolution, the Texas Revolution was Gonzales, Concepcion, Grass fight, Bexar, San Patricio, Agua Dulce, the Alamo, Refugio, coleto, and San Jacinto. William Barret Travis was a hero, he was commander of the Alamo, he was also the first to die in the war he died defending the north wall, on March 6, 1836, and he was 26 years old. James Bowie was killed in his bed, when he was laid sick with pneumonia all the Mexican army came into this room and killed him, he was in a small room in the south side. James Bowie was 41 years old, he was also the co-commander of the Alamo. The third hero was David Crockett, he died in the war also his body was found in a small fort in the Westside, and he was 50 years old.
There were 28 officers, 30 people from South Carolina, 15 people from Tennessee, 32 from Gonzales, and 81 from different countries from England, Scotland, Germany, and Ireland from all various states. The person that owns the Mexicans army was Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, he wanted to rule the whole world, and Santa Anna orders his troops to attack the Alamo. At the end of the battle of the Alamo, Santa Anna loss was estimated at 600 men, the Alamo was remerber and the Goliad Massacre forty-six days later on April 21 1836, at the battle of San Jacinto, there were 783 men led by General Sam Houston defeated 1, 500 Mexicans. The battle just last for only eighteen minutes.
The Independence of Texas Won and it was all over, 630 of the Mexicans army died in the war, and 730 were Prisoners, and 200 Texas lost their lives for defending the Alamo, and the three heroes that died for their family, friends, and love ones was Lt. Col. William Travis, James Bowie, and David Crockett. People will always remember the Alamo.
